From as far back as I can remember I studied magazines and television sets with the intensity of a text book and mentally redecorated every room I went into.

With almost a decade of experience styling for photography, my style emphasizes clean lines and the use of vintage finds.

Shortly after moving in to my new home I was contacted by the curator of WEST ELM's Blog, Front + Main about being featured on their website. Of course I could not turn that down, even despite the fact that my vision for the space had not yet come to fruition. This is our first home and we have a baby on the way. Our main obstacle is budget. However, since these photos were taken, I have made great strides in my design vision. My least favorite color in the world, beige, is totally gone! We lightened the walls with a bright white and cool greys for that "ahhh" feeling. I simplified the decor and I have since found the perfect rugs for the large rooms (I found a beautiful, 9 x 12 rug for $200! Yes, you read that right). Hopefully soon I can share photos of the transformation we've made, in the meantime here are some of the photos of that Front + Main featured on their blog.
